Let's support it.

Pregnancy and the postpartum period are full of physical change — some expected, some surprising, and some that just plain hurt. This care is designed for exactly that.

You might be dealing with:

Pelvic pain, pubic symphysis dysfunction, or that sharp round ligament pain that stops you in your tracks

Low back tension, hip tightness, or a general sense of imbalance as your body adapts

A desire to feel as physically prepared and comfortable as possible going into labor and delivery

A postpartum body that feels unfamiliar, unsteady, or like it needs some support

You don't have to be in significant pain to seek care — and you don't have to just push through and hope things resolve on their own.

A DIFFERENT APPROACH TO CARE

Perinatal chiropractic looks and feels different from general chiropractic. We treat through a preventative care model, helping you have a successful birth and recovery. The techniques are adapted specifically for pregnant and postpartum bodies.

During Pregnancy

Pelvic pain, round ligament discomfort, back tension — these are common in pregnancy, but they're not something you need to push through. Chiropractic care helps you feel more comfortable in your body at every stage.

Comfort

Staying active throughout pregnancy makes a real difference. Maintaining pelvic balance and joint mobility allows your body to move more freely and comfortably as your baby grows.

Mobility

A well-aligned pelvis provides the most space and favorable environment for your baby's positioning as you approach labor. But birth preparation here goes beyond the adjustment.

We'll work together on:
  • Pelvic floor awareness and coordination
  • Stretches, and movement to prepare your body's readiness for labor
  • Breathwork and body mechanics to support you during the birthing process itself

Preparing Your Body for Birth

Book a Perinatal Visit

Postpartum

Birth — however it unfolds — is physically significant. Whether you had a vaginal delivery or a cesarean, your body has been through something major, and it deserves intentional support as it begins to recover. Postpartum chiropractic care is about connecting with your body, based on where you are and how you're feeling.

Recovery

Postpartum chiropractic care helps your body return to a balanced baseline.

Realignment

Recovery looks different for everyone. We'll build a progressive movement plan tailored to where you are — covering core reconnection, postural retraining, and stage-appropriate return to activity, so you're never guessing what comes next.

Movement & Rehabilitative Exercises

The postpartum period is a lot — physically, emotionally, hormonally. Supporting the nervous system through this transition can contribute to better sleep, reduced tension, and a sense of ease in your body. This isn't just about structure. It's about helping you feel more like yourself again.

Your First Visit

I want to understand your history, how your pregnancy has been going (or how your birth unfolded), your specific concerns, and what you're hoping for from care. From there, I'll do a thorough assessment and begin treatment.

Ongoing Care

Some people come for a focused course of care around a specific concern. Others choose consistent support throughout pregnancy and into the postpartum period.

Collaboration With Your Care Team

Chiropractic care works best alongside your other providers — not in isolation. I'm always happy to communicate with your midwife, OB, pelvic floor therapist, doula, or anyone else supporting you.

Frequently Asked Questions

Is chiropractic care safe during pregnancy?

What is the Webster Technique?

When should I start?

How soon postpartum can I come in?

How many visits will I need?

Do you work alongside my midwife, OB, or other practitioners?

Yes — chiropractic is considered safe throughout all stages of pregnancy. Techniques, pressure and positioning are modified at every stage. Many OBs and midwives actively support chiropractic care during pregnancy, and I'm always happy to communicate with your primary care provider if that's useful.

The Webster Technique is a prenatal-specific chiropractic technique focused on creating balance within the pelvis — addressing muscles and ligaments that attach to and support it. When the pelvis is balanced, babies have more room to settle into an optimal position, and the birthing parent experiences greater comfort and ease throughout pregnancy.

Generally, as soon as you feel ready and have cleared basic mobility — often within the first one to two weeks after a vaginal birth, and a little later following a cesarean depending on healing. If you're unsure, reach out and we'll talk through your specific situation.

That depends on what's going on and how your body responds to care. I'll always give you my honest clinical perspective, and there's no pressure to commit to anything beyond what feels right for you.

Yes — and I encourage it. Chiropractic care during the perinatal period is complementary to your primary obstetric care, not a replacement for it.
